The career story: chapters and engagements as content

← Back to the map

Question

Write the career story as final content, using the glossary: the three Chapters as a short narrative (agency with co-founders, solo freelancing, freelancing with Partners), and the Engagement list with End Client, dates, role, one-line summary, and "via Zühlke" / "via Adesso" / "direct" on every entry. Decide how the Partner relationship is explained in one sentence so a reader understands Zühlke placed Reto at LGT and CSS, and Adesso at Visana, and that TWY invoices them. Decide the ordering (newest first?), how far back to go, and whether pre-TWY roles appear. Output: content/career.md ready to be rendered.

Answer

Resolved 2026-10-14. Final content in content/career.md.

  • Three Chapters as short first-person text; agencies unnamed ("advertising agencies in Bern and Zürich"); TWY's own products folded into the chapter text.
  • Engagements newest first, full cards from Localsearch 2015 onward, each with "via Zühlke" / "via Adesso" / "direct", role, rewritten bullets, stack line. No skills block.
  • LGT: Dec 2023 – Dec 2024, Expert Web Engineer. CSS: Jan 2025 – present, Expert Web Engineer. Both: support all teams, coaching, code review, training (Reto: "maybe a little more than an expert web engineer, but let's keep it that way").
  • Chapter 3 text explains the Partner arrangement in one sentence: Zühlke places Reto with its clients and contracts with TWY.
  • Pre-TWY employment as a compact list; education shown in three lines including the CG Spectrum 3D course (explains the neon sign).
  • Remaining small gap: one concrete outcome each for LGT and CSS would strengthen the two most recent cards.
